Mandarin Blueprint Reading Practice, Matched to Your Level
Mandarin Blueprint reading practice is the volume half of the method: the course teaches you characters and words, and reading in bulk is what makes them permanent. The catch is finding material pitched to an MB level.
Chenjin has a Mandarin Blueprint level import built in: pick your level, and the vocabulary the course has taught you is marked known in one step.
Set your level, skip the setup
In Settings, pick your Mandarin Blueprint level, 1 through 88. Chenjin marks every word the course introduces up through that level as known, all at once, and shows a rough HSK estimate for where that puts you. Raise the level as you progress and the new words are added; lowering it never removes anything.
Read at the level you measured
With your MB vocabulary marked, every article's familiarity meter is computed against what you know from the course. That's the comprehensible-input dial the method asks you to find, set automatically across a library graded HSK 1 to 7.
Keep what the reading brings in
Words you meet beyond the course are one tap from the dictionary and one more from a flashcard, reviewed on an FSRS schedule or sent straight to your own Anki decks, the tool most MB students already run.
Frequently asked questions
Is Chenjin affiliated with Mandarin Blueprint?
No. Chenjin is an independent platform. The level import exists because MB students kept needing a way to carry their course progress into a reading tool without pasting word lists by hand.
How accurate is the HSK estimate?
It's an estimate, clearly labeled as one. MB isn't built along HSK lines, so there's no exact mapping; the estimate is based on how much of each HSK level's word list your cumulative MB vocabulary covers.
I'm early in the course. Is there anything to read?
The library starts at HSK 1 with short, simple articles, and the games are tagged by level too. By the intermediate levels, where MB students usually go hunting for reading volume, the catalog is at its deepest.
